Proof Reading and Copy Editing

We offer three packages designed to reflect the type of book you wish to produce and the amount of time it takes to get the book print ready, plus an e-book package and non ISBN package.

We advise contacting us to discuss which package would work best for you and we will need to see a copy of the book to see if it fits our publishing criteria before we can agree to go ahead with the set up.  

The fee for each package covers all formatting, set up costs and cover design. The book will be assigned an ISBN number valid in USA and UK markets where applicable. 

We will promote your book using Google book search, Amazon search inside and it will also be made available through all online retailers in USA and UK. It will be available in any good book shop via standard wholesalers and we will also build a dedicated website for the title in order to further promote your book.* Authors may purchase copies of their title at a 50% discount on the cover price.*

An e-book copy of your title can be included in any of the Bronze, Silver or Gold packages at an additional fee of £100 / $150.

BRONZE PACKAGE

This category is for books that are text only.

The Author is entitled to 10 free copies.

The fee for this service is £500 / $800

SILVER PACKAGE

This package is for books that include up to 10 black and white graphics which must be supplied by the Author at 300dpi.

In this package the Author receives 15 free copies of the book.

The fee for this service is £650 / $1000

GOLD PACKAGE

This package is for books that contain any number of black and white and/or colour images or illustrations.  

Please note that colour will add considerably to the set up costs and retail price of your book as they are more expensive to produce. so unless you wish to produce a coffee table book or photographic book it is worth considering the additional cost involved when choosing.

In this package the author receives 20 free copies

The fee for this service is £900 / $1400

E-BOOK PUBLISHING

The publishing industry is changing rapidly and for the first time, during 2011, the sale of e-books (Kindle) overtook the sale of print books on Amazon. It is now a viable option to consider publishing your work in e-book format only.

Our e-book publishing service will produce your title as a Kindle e-book as well as providing an e-pub version that you can sell through other outlets.

Your e-book will have a valid ISBN, a professional layout and a unique cover design.

Providing we are furnished with a professionally edited and proofed copy our fee for this service is £195 / $300.

Proofing and editing srvices can be provided by us at an additional cost of £25 / $40 an hour.  

NON ISBN PUBLICATIONS

This package is ideal for the individual or small society or organisation that wishes to produce a book for a niche market. This  would include, local history books sold through heritage centres and books on local personalities or towns and villages which are to be sold locally. The advantage to Co-Publishing in this case is that you only order the number of copies that you need at any one time. Re-ordering is simple, there is no large print cost and no storage space is required. 

Fee: This will vary depending on the size of the book but as as an example a 9"x6" (229mm x152mm) will cost 375 euros for 50 books.
